JUA is a knowledge-sharing platform where users get convenient access to a network of advisors – a range of professionals with skills and knowledge in a wide variety of fields. Users can either book Advisory sessions or pay for services.

There is no charge to join JUA. Users will only have to pay for advisory sessions depending on the Advisor's rate (e.g. R250 per hour), or for the service that they need (e.g., R500 for an animated video).

You can become an Advisor by applying through the “My Profile” tab in the app. Simply click the "apply now" link, fill out the questionnaire, and we will be in touch with you to get you started as an Advisor.

In many African languages, single words often have many related meanings. JUA is a Swahili word which means ‘Knowledge’, but also means ‘Light’. This aptly describes the vision for JUA, a central hub for knowledge-exchange and bringing light (information) to knowledge-seekers.

JUA earns a 10% commission for each Advisory session and 5% for each service rendered.

All payments are in ZAR.

When someone visits JUA, we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not personally identify anyone.
